Renowned Tanzanian singer Harmonize has been arrested in Kenya on charges of obtaining money by false pretense. He is currently held at the Kileleshwa police station for questioning.

Tanzanian singer Harmonize real names Rajab Abdul Kahali has been arrested in Kenya. The artist was arrested on charges of obtaining money by false pretence.
The trouble begun when several bar owners were complaining that they had paid thousands of shillings to have the artist perform at their locations but the artist had made no show. This is what prompted the police to swing into action and arrest the young star.
Citizen Digital reported that a certain club proprietor whom they did not disclose had paid thousands of shillings to have the Tanzanian star perform at one of his locations. Harmonize was picked up by police and detained at Kileleshwa police station to be questioned about the show.
Kenyan comedian Eric Omondi is also said to be implicated in the whole saga. It is reported that the comedian had collected large sums of money from different bars which had wanted to host the Tanzanian singer at their clubs. Eric Omondi tweeted that he had been punched by the singer Harmonize after he went to bail him out.
Several fans of the Harmonize thronged the police station after news got out that he had been arrested. The Kilimani police boss Mbogo Muturi said his officers were acting on the complaints from some of the artist handlers.
